The Pet Gala
Each year, the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina hosts a gala aimed at supporting our mission of improving the lives of adoptable animals in our community by providing compassionate care, promoting responsible pet ownership, and advocating for animal welfare.
This year's theme is: The Pet Gala! Inspired by the Met Gala, wear your fanciest, funkiest, or most eclectic Met-Gala-Inspired attire & join us in celebration of another amazing year of work with HSEC!
Our 11th Annual A Night to Paws gala is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Hilton Greenville. This exciting evening will feature delicious food, entertainment, a silent auction, a drawing, a bourbon pull, and more! There will be an open bar with a selection of beer and wine while supplies last as well as mixed drinks available for purchase.
The support of our community is crucial to our mission of combating pet overpopulation in Eastern Carolina. As the area's only no-kill animal rescue facility, and a completely independent, grassroots organization, we rely solely on community donations and receive no funding from national organizations like the Humane Society of the United States or the ASPCA, or any government sources.
Events like A Night to Paws are vital to keeping our doors open and providing a second chance at life for homeless, abandoned, and neglected pets.
