We still need your support to provide the homeless pets of eastern Carolina the services we have always given them. As Pitt County and the surrounding areas grow, so does the population of unwanted pets. To meet these changing needs, we rely on people like you to help us.

Reaffirm your commitment to the homeless animals of eastern Carolina by sending your tax-deductible contribution. Along with receiving newsletters, members receive special notices of any Humane Society of Eastern Carolina function or event.

Criteria For Membership

An individual shall be a member of the Society automatically upon satisfaction of the following criteria:

  1. Membership:  Payment of annual dues at entrant level or

  2. Voting Membership:  Payment of annual dues at entrant level and 60 hours of volunteer time over the immediate prior twelve (12) month period.

This amount pays for cat vaccinations and worming.

Gold Ribbon

This amount pays for a dog's spay surgery.

Red Ribbon

$75

This amount pays for a cat's spay surgery and vaccinations.

Blue Ribbon

$100

This amount pays for two dog spay surgeries.

Champion $250
This amount pays to house, spay/neuter and vaccinate two cats.
Best of Breed $500
This amount pays to house, spay/neuter and vaccinate three dogs.
Best in Show $1000
This amount pays to house, spay/neuter and vaccinate three dogs and four cats.

Members may serve as officers of the organization if elected by the board of directors.
Members may also vote in the annual election of the board of directors.
