Dog Spotlight

Lester, Huckleberry and Jethro

Lester

Huckleberry

Jethro

Lester, Huckleberry and Jethro are handsome neutered male walker hound brothers with personality plus. Their mom was adopted from another agency and when her new parents got her home she was pregnant. Fortunately, the owners of the momma dog took great care of the puppies until they were ready to come to the Humane Society.

These boys are hound through and through. They are happy go lucky, a slave to their nose, and have that pitiful hound dog look (you know the one that makes humans give him treats) down to a science. Many people think that hounds are just for hunting, but that is far from the truth. Hounds are smart and resilient and make great family pets.

These boys are super dogs with lots of love and companionship to share with a new family. Come make one or all of these sweet fellas part of your pack today!

All dogs at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs 6 months or older are tested for heartworms. Adoptions come with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and a free one month trial of pet health insurance.

These boys are the epitome of a hound dog!  And SO VERY HANDSOME!!!
