Cat SpotlightGizmo
How can you not just fall in love with this face? Gizmo is an 8 year old neutered male, up to date on all his shots (including rabies), has tested negative for feline aids and leukemia and is declawed in the front. He loves to be shown affection and loves to be brushed. Despite his age, Gizmo does have a playful side; he likes to give love bites, which are just small nibbles with his teeth to your hand or arm to show his affection. Because of this he should probably not be around small children as he might unknowingly scare them with his playing. Mostly he will probably just want to sleep on your lap or perhaps next to the window. Gizmo is a special needs cat due to the fact that he is prone to urinary tract infections. This simply means that he must be fed prescription diet, C/D cat food permanently so his urinary tract problems don’t come back, and regular yearly check ups at his vet. At most vets, a 10 pound bag of C/D cat food, (which would last about a month for Gizmo), is around $30.00. Gizmo needs a special home where this monthly expense would not be a problem. Gizmo was brought in as a transfer from another shelter in December of 2006 and he has been patiently waiting for his new home since then.
