Elvis and Banjo

Two Lucky Brothers

Hi! Earlier this year, my boyfriend and I adopted Spot and Silver (now Elvis and Banjo) from the Humane Society, and I wanted to send a couple pictures of them enjoying their new lives of luxury. Elvis (formerly Spot) is a very relaxed, sweet, and lovable dog who follows you everywhere you go. His report said that he didn't respond well to affection, but he's actually VERY affectionate and loves his new family very much. And Banjo (formerly Silver) is sweet and playful. He has a lovable personality and has a happy smile on his face all the time. The brothers see each other every day and thoroughly enjoy their walks together, which are followed by energetic play sessions. Both have adjusted very well to home life outside of the shelter and have grown pretty spoiled pretty quickly, but we're happy to do it. It's hard for us to believe that they were in the shelter for nearly 2 years, and everyone that walked past them is missing out on a couple of fun-loving, affectionate pups! They always bring a smile to our faces, and now at this time of year, they're getting their first Thanksgivings and first Christmases, and they're loving every minute of it. Thank you guys for your hard work!

Too may folks walk right past dogs that have the potential to be loving and loyal companions.  Spot and Silver were with their HSEC family for quite a while and we all wondered why nobody saw what great dogs they were.  We are very happy that Megan and Greg recognized their potential and gave them a loving and forever home TOGETHER!  Thank you Megan and Greg for giving Elvis and Banjo the home they so richly deserve!  We love happy endings!
