Madden

A Perfect Match

Madden smiling for the camera

We adopted Madden last week and she is such a wonderful dog!  At first she had an extreme abandonment complex (understandable!), if we went into another room without her or even out to the car to get something she would cry pitifully... but now she is learning that we are not going anywhere and that she is home to stay... and she is much more relaxed.  We can crate her for the night in the other room and not hear a "peep" all night long.  She has learned to sit and to stay (in a week!) and is working on leash training with the gentle leader harness I bought her.  She gets along well with our two year old and our older dog.

The first picture she really wanted to play with the camera like it's a flashing rope toy.   It almost looks like she is smiling.  The next picture is her trying to get our older dog, Casey, to play.  Casey's expression is priceless, "please tell the puppy to settle down!"

This dog is really the sweetest, most intelligent dog I know.  She is very gentle and full of love.  She is a wonderful companion.  I'm so glad she's ours!  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!
