Jade update - August 2008

Me and Jade would love to give you some updates.

Well my sweet lady Jade is doing great. She is a sweetheart. I adopted her on September 4th 2005. I have to say she is an incredible dog and everybody loves her. She is very well behaved, loves treats( glad she can't read :o) , she would be all over me) , loves to go to the park and for long walks and she still shows me her incredible hunting skills by pointing at squirrels and birds and bugs and spiders.

She says hi to everybody and we wish you all the best and the luck in the world. We promise once we get our own bigger place we will come to adopt a buddy for her.

Sincerely,
Anca & Jade

How can you not just love that face!?!?!

I adopted Jade (her name was Jadin) a year ago from the Humane Society and she has been my baby and my friend since then.  I couldn't imagine my life without her now.  She loves to play with the tennis balls.  She loves to run and hunt everything that moves except humans...she is a pointer so she points to squirrels or birds all the time.  She is a very smart dog .She has learned so many tricks in the past year.  Everybody loves her and she is very spoiled. In the past 5 months she became also protective with my apartment but when the person gets in the apartment she is the happiest dog and she tries to play with everyone.

But I do have a story.  One night i took her outside around 12-1 a.m.  It was dark in front of my building and this weird guy came and asked me where downtown is.  He was really scaring me and coming closer to me and he had something in his hand and Jade felt that and became really aggressive and protective.  She scared the guy away.  She might have saved me from a possible assault.  Well...I just wanted you to know that she is doing great and that both me and Jade appreciate what you guys are doing for the animals.

Thanks,

Anca and Jade
