Jake looking handsome as ever! Jake update - March 2007
Can you believe its been a whole year since Jake found a home?!? I thought I would write to let you know what he and I have been up to. I spent the summer in New York City last year so Jake spent the summer in Upstate New York with his grandparents, who love him dearly. He loves to run and play outside by their pond...and chase whatever critters he can (He also LOVES the snow there, too...as you can see in the pictures). In September, Jake and I were reunited when I got an apartment in Northern New Jersey. That is where we are now, just outside New York City. We live across from a big walking park/football field complex. On weekends he still loves to play catch with his squeaky ball and run around like a madman. Jake loves a good car ride, a loud squeaky ball and shaking paws for any type of treat. All of which I indulge him in...he's a spoiled boy. All in all, we're both happy and healthy. Thank you so much for Jake, he's certainly been a best friend this past year and will continue to be. Sincerely, Ellen Hanley

What a handsome boy Jake is! Hi everyone! I thought I would send you some pictures of Jake at home :) He's doing very well in the apartment. I haven't had any trouble crating him, or leaving him in the apartment to roam for a few hours at a time. His only quirk is that he refuses to go into the kitchen or the bathroom, but we're working on it. He'll be making his first trip to the vet this week; he seems to be getting a little eye infection :( But other than that, he is happy and healthy. At the moment he is devouring a squeaky ball...his favorite! I'll keep in touch with more photos, as I learn how to use my digital camera better. Hope you're all well! Ellen Hanley
