Two years ago I moved in to my first apartment and immediately set out to find a pet. Having grown up with cats I know the great companions that they can be. When I began looking at the humane society I automatically was drawn to the kittens. After looking more though, I was introduced to Baby Boy. The volunteer told me that he, at the time a year old, was very timid and that she did not think he was the affectionate cat that I was looking for. I came back twice more and always took him out to see how he would respond to me. Baby Boy adopted me, of that I am sure. He was loving and craved attention. After bringing him home he took some time to warm up, but now his sweet disposition is more evident than ever. He is now named O'Malley and he has two brothers, Felix and Tux- both of whom he got to help raise. I never expected to find such a great friend in a pet, but O'Malley has truly become one and is at the heart of our little family. Thank you for taking care of my baby until I could bring him home!
