Success Story

Bug has been a part our family for one year and we wanted to share what we have been up to. Over the past year, Bug has had many exciting accomplishments. He and I have completed basic and intermediate obedience training at Top Dog Academy as well as earning his Canine Good Citizen (CGC). This weekend we also successfully passed the Pet Partner Evaluation to be a Dog Therapy Team in complex facilities through the Delta Society. This is exciting considering some of the issues Bug had when we first brought him home.

More than all of this, Bug has made our family whole. We feel like Bug has been around for much longer than a year and cannot imagine our lives without him. Thank you so much for introducing us to our latest family member.

Harpo, a long time resident at HSEC, finds his forever home. One happy Mom and dog!

I just wanted to thank you guys for introducing my family and I to Harpo. In his first hours at his forever home he sniffed every inch of the house, took a nap, had a bath, and finished the evening with a wonderful play session with our baby girl, Mya (the French Bulldog/Boston Terrier Mix in the picture). He has settled right in and is promising to make a wonderful addition to our family.
