My husband and I had been talking about getting a dog as a new addition to our family.  We had decided we would wait until Christmas, but started researching over the summer to determine what kind of dog we wanted.  We made a trip to the Humane Society in July 2009 and fell in love with Wildflower.  I wanted her so bad but knew we weren't getting her because we wanted to wait.  The following week my husband came home and trailing behind him was the best surprise... Daisy (as we now call her) has settled into our home and is doing great.  We took her to Top Dog Academy for a little manners training and now she is just like part of the family.  Thank you so much HSEC for all you do to keep these dogs safe until they can find a home like ours.
