5th Annual Auction for the Animals
Thank you to everyone who came out to join us for the Auction for the
Animals. The night was a great success! We would also like to
thank all those individuals and companies who generously donated their
time and/or items for the auction. We look forward to seeing everyone
next year!

A special
thanks to the Kaki and Murrell McLeod for being staunch supporters of HSEC.
The McLeods adopted a dog, Winston, from us in 2008, and have been helping
out ever since. Kaki (pictured at left) has a green thumb and keeps
our landscaping around the HSEC sign fresh and pretty. She sold basil
plants at this year's Umbrella Market to support HSEC. Murrell
arranges for for Keller-Williams to have a volunteer day at HSEC annually.
Bow-Wow Bingo in 2011
Thank you to everyone who has supported the
Humane Society of Eastern Carolina and Spay Today at
Bow-Wow Bingo this year. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
The last Bow-Wow Bingo of 2011 is approaching, October 20, 2011. We
hope you'll join us then and for Bow-Wow Bingo in 2012. A special
thanks to the folks at the
Pitt Community Schools and Recreation Complex for letting us use the venue
for the evening.
 Holiday
Gift Wrapping 2010
Thank you to everyone who came out to Holiday Gift Wrapping to support the
Humane Society this year - patrons and volunteers alike. We would not
be able to offer this service without the help of our dedicated volunteers.
We also appreciate the support of our loyal patrons each year. The
funds raised will help us care for our pets in 2011.

  We would like to thank Linda Monico of New
Levels Dog Training and student volunteers from the Oakwood School for
dedicating an afternoon each week to help train and socialize our adoptable
pets. Dr. Linda Kuhn and Suzan Molloy also participate in the training
and support the program by organizing the sign up and transporting the kids
to and from the Humane Society and we appreciate their support in these
activities as well.
