We would like to thank Linda Monico of New Levels Dog Training and student volunteers from the Oakwood School for dedicating an afternoon each week to help train and socialize our adoptable pets.  Dr. Linda Kuhn and Suzan Molloy also participate in the training and support the program by organizing the sign up and transporting the kids to and from the Humane Society and we appreciate their support in these activities as well.

Wal Mart and Sam's Club Donation

The Humane Society would like to thank Wal Mart and Sam's Club for their generous donation of $2,500.  These funds will assist the organization in continuing to meet our mission in the community.

Black Dog Day, Saturday, November 17, 2007 - Sam's Club, Winterville, NC

We would like to thank everyone who came out to support Black Dog Day 2007.  Black dogs are adopted less frequently than other dogs and we like to show the public what great pets are black dogs can be.  We had a good turnout of volunteers and black dogs who enjoyed the day.  Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and money to help us support the homeless animal of eastern North Carolina.  Click here for pictures from the day.

Wachovia Dealer Service Center welcomes HSEC dogs for a visit on June 29, 2007!
We would like to thank the employees of the Wachovia Dealer Service Center for raising $700 to support the HSEC in helping the homeless animals of eastern North Carolina.   Click here for pictures from the day.
