Donate Non-Cash Items to the Facility

A lot of food, towels, medical equipment are needed by the animals at the facility in addition to love and care. We accept non-cash donations at the facility as well as at PETsMART (just look for the big blue plastic bin at the front entrance).

We currently only feed Hill's Science Diet dry food to our puppies, dogs, kittens and cats.  While all donations are always appreciated, we cannot feed other brands of dry food to our pets as we try to maintain a consistent diet for them.  Canned forms of kitten and puppy food are welcome as we can use that to feed puppies and kittens who are not yet eating solid food.

The animals at the facility are in need of the following items...

  • Treats

  • Towels

  • Blankets

  • Animal carriers

  • Food Bowls

  • Leashes

  • Collars

Cailie Grace's Path to Forever Homes

Cailie Grace "Sassy" McKinney, an extraordinary young girl and a dedicated Humane Society volunteer, passed away on April 5, 2008.  A fund has been established in memory of Cailie Grace to lay paw print shaped stepping stones along all pathways at the HSEC facility.  This path will be known as “Cailie Grace’s Path to Forever Homes”.  If you would like to make a donation in memory of Cailie Grace, you can make a donation via check or PayPal using the button above on this page.  Please please place “Path to Forever Homes” in the memo line.  All support is welcome, no donation is too small!

Cailie Grace is pictured with a litter of foster puppies from last spring that were fondly known as the "Cookie Puppies".
