Eating Contest at Christy's Euro Pub

Chow Hounds get
ready – Christy’s Euro Pub will be offering a
Food Eating Contest and Benefit for the Humane Society of Eastern
Carolina.
Contestants will have one hour to finish one of each:
Meatloaf sandwich
Cheesesteak (beef or chicken)
Pulled pork or smoked brisket sandwich
And a basket of fries
Vegetarian options available
The entry fee is
$20. Contestants can register until 5pm on Sunday. Prizes awarded to
every contestant, with extra special prizes give to 1st, 2nd
and 3rd place finishers. Prizes include one-of-a-kind
Christy’s Euro Pub pint glasses and gift cards to local restaurants and
businesses including Chanello’s, Chico’s, Expressions, The Scullery and
more.
Live music will be
provided by local bluegrass jam band, Those Meddling Kids.
Christy’s Euro Pub
will donate 25% of ALL SALES Sunday night to the Humane Society of Eastern
Carolina, plus raffles will be held during the event for prizes to local
breweries. Featured beers will include craft beers with animal-themed
