Heather Davis & Zoe & Bandi

Heather, Zoe and Bandi raised $1,300 in pledges for the Eighth Annual Canine Crawl.  They were our big money raisers of the day!  Heather is a true animal lover whose heart knows no bounds when it comes to helping animals.  Zoe and Bandi are just two of the lucky pooches she's rescued.  Zoe (black dog) was adopted from the Humane Society.  What a lucky gal she is to have Heather as her Mom!
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina thanks Heather, Zoe and Bandi for being faithful supporters of homeless animals in eastern North Carolina!

Susie Yates & Brina

Susie & Brina raised $419 in pledges for the Canine Crawl.  Susie and Truffles were one of our big money raisers last year
as well.  Brina is one of the lucky rescues that have found their way into Susie's home and heart.
Brina entered the local shelter from Ayden shelter, as was an approximately 11 wk. old stray.   The shelter contacted Susie who went and pulled Brina from the shelter - with NO Intentions of adopting her, as Susie doesn't do puppies'!!!   She was such an adorable, smart little puppy who just happened to 'hook' Susie and her family, thus she did not get to leave 'Weinerville'!   Brina is now 3 and 1/2 years old and has the most gorgeous LONG eyelashes Susie has ever seen on a dog!!  Susie does her part for homeless animals year round with her tireless rescue efforts with Dachshund Rescue of America.  If you are interested in learning more about the organization, please visit  www.drna.org and www.columbusco.org/shelterdogs.swf.  The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina thanks Susie and Brina for being faithful supporters of homeless animals in eastern North Carolina!

Lisa Scott & Saki

Lisa and Saki raised $325 in pledges for the Canine Crawl.  Lisa says Saki, a sweet Japanese Chin, is a bit camera shy.  Don't know why since he's so handsome!  That cute little tongue sticking out is just priceless!  The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina thanks Lisa and Saki for being all around great supporters of homeless animals in eastern North Carolina!

Lorayne & Bryan Smithson & Tarheel Louie

Lorayne & Bryan & Tarheel Louie raised $300 in pledges for the Canine Crawl.  Tarheel Louie is a one and a half year old Basset Hound.  Picking his name was rather easy as Bryan is a Carolina graduate and Lorayne is a lifetime Carolina fan.  Lorayne and Bryan say that he has brought great joy into their lives.  He is absolutely the smartest Basset Hound they've have ever had and look forward to seeing him after a hard day's work. Lorayne, Bryan and Tarheel Louie would like to thank everyone who helped with a donation to support this year's Canine Crawl for Humane Society of Eastern Carolina.  The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina thanks Lorayne, Bryan and Tarheel Louie for being all around great supporters of homeless animals in eastern North Carolina!

Katherine Kenyon-Gose & Fox

Katherine is 11 years old and this is her fifth year raising money for the Canine Crawl.  She and Fox raised $275 in pledges for the Canine Crawl.  Katherine is home schooled so she gets to spend lots of quality time with Fox while she is studying.  Every year she goes door to door asking for sponsors and explains what a good cause the Humane Society is.  She really wants to work with dogs when she grows up.  The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina thanks Katherine and Fox for being faithful supporters of homeless animals in eastern North Carolina!
